Lauren Williams’ work is an exercise in surrender. She allows the fluidity of her materials to guide her creations towards completion without trying to control them. Lauren believes in the delicate balance between forcing beauty and allowing it to happen naturally, resulting in works that feature striking juxtapositions between textures and colors. Lauren’s collaboration with Art + Loom explores the same fluidity and surrender, but this time in the form of textiles. The unique rugs created through this partnership combine intricate textures and bold colors.
Together, Lauren and Samantha have created the feeling of movement through shades of color in an array of fibers and multiple pile heights.
The result is a completely new style of rug that adds artistic interest with a signature style that Lauren Williams has brought to the design world.
